Symptoms of Recovery
Most symptoms decrease sharply
after your first few days of quitting and become less severe during
the second and third week of not smoking.
Most symptoms are gone within two to four weeks after quitting. If
you smoke more than one pack a day, a nicotine substitute(i.e., gum,
patch) may help to lessen the symptoms.
